OKR Adoption Analytics

Overview

The OKR Adoption analytics shows results management executives the participation of different teams in OKR setting across the organization. The report is designed to help leaders: 

  • Understand how an OKR program is maturing across the organization, and which teams are setting OKRs across the organization.
  • Identify teams or L2 leaders that need support in increasing OKR adoption within their respective parts of the business.
  • Gain a better understanding of the distribution of OKR adoption within their team.

The OKR adoption analytics is made up of two views:

  1. Team OKR adoption by (L2) leader
  2. Personal OKR adoption by (L2) leader

Team OKR Adoption by (L2) leader

The Team OKR Adoption by (L2) Leader contains three sections:

A stacked bar chart displaying L2 leaders’ team OKR adoption. Each stacked bar shows four unique status:

    1. Count of functional teams with OKRs
    2. Count of working groups with OKRs
    3. Count of functional teams with no OKRs
    4. Count of working group with no OKRs

Note: All of the elements on the stacked bar chart i.e leader name and the different status can be clicked on to filter the data displayed in the table. 

A table displaying the following data fields:

    1. Team Manager - the name of the team manager
    2. Team Manager Title - the title of the team manager
    3. Teams - the name of the team
    4.  Open OKRs - the count of current* OKRs belonging to the team
    5. Team Type - functional or dynamic working group
    6. % OKR Progress - the average progress % of all open current* OKRs belonging to the team
    7. Team Manager Email

A search bar and filters:

  1. Search (Name) bar which allows you to input any named field such as manager name, team name, or leader name to view data only for that user or team
  2. Team Type filter which allows you to select and view data for a specific team type
  3. Team Status filter which allows you to select and view data for teams that either have or do not have OKRs
  4. % OKR Progress slicer which allows you to enter or adjust the % OKR progress to view data within the bounds

How to Leverage the Team OKR Adoption by L2 Analytics

Leaders can use the Team OKR adoption by L2 view to address the following questions:

  1. What is the OKR adoption breakdown of functional and dynamic teams reporting to L2 leaders?
  2. Where is team OKR adoption weakest in my organization?
  3. What functional teams under my L2 leaders do not have OKRs?
  4. What working groups under my L2 leaders do not have OKRs?
  5. Which L2 leaders need coaching in setting OKRs?

Personal OKR Adoption by (L2) leader

To access the Personal OKR Adoption by (L2) Leader view, click on the ‘Discover Personal OKR Adoption’ button at the top left of the page.

Similar to Team OKR adoption by (L2) leader view, the Personal OKR adoption by (L2) leader view is made of up three sections:

A stacked bar chart displaying L2 leaders’ personal OKR adoption. Each stacked bar shows four unique status:

    1. Count of users with Personal OKRs
    2. Count of users without Personal OKRs

A table displaying the following data fields:

    1. User Name - the name of the user
    2. User Email - email address of the user
    3. Manager Name - the name of the user’s direct manager
    4. Open OKRs - the count of open current* OKRs belonging to the user
    5. OKR Progress - the average progress % of all open current*  OKRs belonging to the user
    6. Leader - the name of the L2 leader to which the user reports

The report has 3 filters on top that allow you to slice the information displayed in the bar chart and table:

    1. Search (Name) bar which allows you to input any named field such as manager name, team name, or leader name to view data only for that user or team
    2. User Status filter which allows you to select and view data for users that either have or do not have personal OKRs
    3. % OKR Progress slicer which allows you to enter or adjust the % OKR progress to view data within the bounds

How to Leverage the Personal OKR Adoption by L2 Analytics

Leaders can use the Personal OKR adoption by L2 view to address the following questions:

  1. What is the personal OKR adoption like across my organization?
  2. How many L2 leaders have adopted personal OKRs?
  3. How many users reporting to L2 leaders have personal OKRs? 

L3 OKR Adoption Drilldown

Click on a leader's name on the bar chart to activate the L3 Drilldown button. This data helps L2 leaders better understand the distribution of adoption within their team.

Things to Note

  • Data in the OKR Adoption analytics is refreshed daily between 8-9AM PT
  • * Current: All OKRs that are open and have at least a day left in their duration (applies to all OKRs including quarterly, annual or those that are set for a custom time period).  
  • L2 leaders report directly to the top leader of the organization
