Items for Deprecation
The following pages and capabilities will no longer be available by Dec 21, 2022, when the new navigation is fully in place across all organizations.
Feature Name |
Purpose of Feature |
Reason for Deprecation |
Plan Forward |
Teams: Workload & Bandwidth |
- Intended to demonstrate "loan" on team members and allow managers to load-balance team members
- Helped individuals who are overloaded to prioritize their work
|
- Capabilities are buggy - filters in particular
- Fundamental construct was based on action item start/end dates, which became a limitation for resource planning
|
- Construct / pain point is valuable, but execution needs a new look - current product doesn't fit the needs of enterprise customers
- Moving forward, we will be working with customers who were utilizing the capability to understand the outcomes they were trying to drive for, and investigate a more holistic solution
|
Team: Priorities & Risks |
- Dashboard of action items that are high-priority and at-risk across teams
|
- As WoBo matured, the construct of the priorities and risks dashboard never matured to include OKR risk, and the feature is very action item focused
|
- We will be evaluating analytics dashboards that surface risks more holistically for the team and the broader enterprise
|
Team: Reports |
- Automated and manually created reports that allow employees to general quick status reports for their managers
|
- Capabilities pre-date Objectives and Key Results on the platform, and are heavily focused on action items
- Automating weekly status reports need to be re-envisioned to include progress and blockers to OKRs and outcomes
|
|
My Work: Weekly Check-Ins
- Weekly Check-Ins with Manager
- Reports Sent Via Email
|
- Reduce time that teams spend generating status reports
|
- The new UI would elevate and give visibility to the feature in a way that we are not set up to support
- Alignment intent, but current solution is too heavily focused on action items
- We need to take a step back and look for ways to apply the construct to the platform more broadly, using a blank-slate approach
|
-
Similar to team reports, we will be working with customers who were utilizing these capabilities, and kick start a fresh discovery process to investigate a more holistic solution for automating weekly status reports
