Results Analytics uses Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Artificial Intelligence to harness OKR and organization-related data to help executives make in-quarter and systemic results improvements.

Aggregate Results Progress by Objective
In the top-most section of the Results Analytics screen, view the strategic priorities/OKRs set by a team or person. This section helps you answer the question: “How is the organization doing on its strategic priorities right now?”
- Dark Blue bar: Depicts selected leader/team’s progress on strategic priorities
- Light Blue bar: Depicts rest of the organization’s progress (all teams)
All Teams in the Org (the light blue bar) are the achievement of the aggregate result of all downstream teams' OKRs aligned to the leadership Objective. This alignment to a leadership team Objective is a combination of what is set up in the platform by end-users and WorkBoard's NLP algorithms where data is missing .
Analyzing & Taking Action on Results Variance
In the second section, view the variance of results between the highest-scoring teams and the lowest-scoring teams. The average is across all teams (functional teams and working groups) within the selected organization. The one exception is any teams that have 0% progress; these are called out separately below.
Results for Direct Reports’ Teams
Shows overall results progress for only the teams (functional and working groups) led by the selected executive’s direct reports.
This section helps you answer the following questions:
- Which teams are achieving their “best possible” now? What does that look like?
- Which teams aren’t contributing enough or need help?
- Which teams aren’t focused on or contributing to outcomes?
- How are the executives’ teams doing on their strategic priorities?
- Which teams have opted out of transparency?
- Which teams potentially set the bar too low?
Click onto see which teams are in any of these categories.
Click on any of the direct reports’ teams to navigate to their OKRs.
Once you have the details of teams in either Top 20%, Bottom 20%, Teams with 0% Progress, or Teams with 100% progress, it’s time to take action. Select the button in the top right corner to either 1) Nudge team leads or 2) Send Kudos to team leads.
Each page will bring up a pre-populated template with a message for the relevant team leaders. This message is crafted based on WorkBoard’s best practices in encouraging engagement with leadership teams. The message is fully customizable, so feel free to adjust!
Once you’ve clicked send, each team leader will receive an email with the customized text from the user account being used. This message will include details of their OKRs. For example:

Compare Objective Progress
Compare Objective progress for org and team week over week
In the third section of this screen (graph on the left) compare the results, achieved thus far, by the executive team and the rest of the org, week over week in that business quarter. In gray, you will also see historical progress against the same Objective. Note, this historical view only appears when users choose “copy and reset” to create the OKR in question.
Compare Progress of executives’ (direct reports) teams
The bar graph on the right shows the progress of each of the direct reports’ teams, based on their aligned OKRs. OKRs are aligned to the leadership team objectives primarily based on a combination of the alignment option that users can select in WorkBoard. If no alignment to the leadership team OKRs is selected, WorkBoard’s Artificial Intelligence and Natural Language Processing engine will automatically categorize objectives to the relevant leadership team OKR.
This section can help you answer the following questions:
- How is the org progressing on a specific objective right now?
- What are gaps between the progress of the leadership team and the rest of the org?
- Are we doing better or worse than last quarter at this point?
- What outcomes can we project or expect given where we are QTD?
- How is each functional team or working group progressing?
- How are executives doing a given objective?
- Should you shift or adjust now based on actual results in various functions on this objective?
