• News in Scorecards: Now you can export any Scorecard to CSV format into Excel, Sheets, and PowerBI to have Scorecard data where you need it most.​
• Set a default Workstream for new AIs in your Action Item Trays so you don’t have to select the assigned Workstream every single time. Once set, all new AIs will default to that Workstream. ​ 
• We also fixed a variety of bugs. For example:
  • Roll ups of mirror Key Results shows total again. 
  • No more errors when closing KRs with Salesforce integration.

  • Format Key Result numbers exactly to your needs to reflect percentage, currency, and numeric data – or convert all items to percentages for easy comparison across results. ​
  • Lean into the red by highlighting actuals based on RAG color, so you know right where to focus efforts based on a quick visual. ​
  • Add notes to the free text field of Scorecards embedded in a Biz Review to quickly capture topics or ideas on the spot during presentations and discussions. ​

• Get the Information you Need Without Leaving MS Teams. Receive a notification right in MS Teams when you’re @mentioned in Objective, Key Results, or Action Item comments. 

• Add Your Mission, Vision, and Values to Strategy. New entry fields and template options allow you to capture and publish the mission and vision behind your strategy. 

• The New Way to Manage Teams. Users can now request to join a team, and admins can help managers approve or deny requests to lessen the approval bottleneck. Contact your CSM if you’d like to enable this option for your organization. 

• Coming Soon to Biz Reviews. Sort, package, and seamlessly present a Collection as a single Biz Review. 

• Action Item Delights. Track note changes in Action Items and revert to any previous version as needed, and send a quick message to notify everyone in the loop with an @here comment.

  • There were some issues with new usernames saving. This has been resolved!
  • You should no longer receive an error when clicking on the Workstream icon in an agenda.

  • No more 500 error when adding an AI to a 1on1 meeting.
  • Jira integration was showing incorrect calculation.

  • Exports to word are no longer broken. 
  • "See sample OKR's" when creating personal objective link is restored.

  • Copied AIs weren't reflecting the correct dates - they're now accurate!
  • There should be no more issues with linking an Outlook calendar to Meetings.

  • Folks were unable to change an AI Workstream from Personal Stream to a Team Workstream in a Biz Review - this is resolved.

• Introducing the option to change and customize the Tray colors for your Business Reviews to match your company branding. 
• You can now create recurring meeting series without integrating with a calendar service! This restores feature equality with our legacy meetings for folks who don’t want to connect their Outlook of Google calendar accounts to WorkBoard.

•  A whopping 38 customer reported bugs were fixed. Let’s look at some highlights:
  • You can now access the future series in Meetings without issue.
  • Some quarterly KRs were showing as never updated even though there were updates. Fixed that weirdness.

• We fixed 51 customer reported bugs. Here are some highlights:
  • Some folks were having trouble accessing their Meeting agenda - this is all fixed. 
  • Calendar view action items are now appearing in Calendar view as intended. 
  • Cascade KR calculation is taking the starting value into consideration when averaging child updates as needed.

Week Ending July 1, 2022

• OKR updates to key results with multiple targets
  • Key result automations are now here for annual and quarterly key results. Annual and quarterly key results getting data from Snowflake and Salesforce: Check.
  • Better accountability, with the option to set owners for quarterly results.
  • Calculate averages of quarterly results over the course of the year with calculation upgrades.

• Configuration for those orgs with ever changing Fiscal Years
  • We now have the infrastructure to accommodate variable fiscal years and quarters where dates for each quarter change year over year changes and still maintain the integrity of QoQ insights. Get in touch with your CSM for any questions! 
• We fixed 11 bugs. One you might notice: Some confidence rating text boxes had a black background with black text, making the text illegible. Now the text is easily legible! 

Week Ending June 24, 2022

• OKR Updates for Key Results with multiple targets: 
  
  • You can now select their measurement as an average of Key Results over a period of time 
  • Data connectors can be linked so Key Results are populated automatically from integrations 
  • Unique owners can be selected for individual Key Results
• Organizations that have variable fiscal years where dates for each quarter change year over year can now configure those dates for their instance - reach out to your CSM with questions.
• We renamed the Lookback & Learn shell in OKR Canvas to Reflect & Reset. We feel this change more accurately reflects the process teams take when starting planning cycles.
• Glitches get Stitches. We fixed 11 bugs, with some notable fries here:
  • Application was blanking out when trying to create OKR. No more!
  • Single instance meetings in GCal showed up multiple times in the WB Meetings Module. Now you just see one, like it should be.

• We made a handful of improvements to OKR Canvas including:
  • You can now use text headers as you form clusters of stickies inside the Lookback & Learn template.
  • Accessibility updates like new keyboard shortcuts. 
  • New search and filtering options on the canvas landing page. 
• We improved the design of the Key Result and Chart trays in Biz Reviews 
• Small but mighty changes to the Meetings dashboard to help get you where you’re going faster.
  • The page autoscrolls to your next meeting
  • As you scroll, the date reflect that which you’re currently viewing on the calendar (rather than the current date)
  • The red line on the page outlines the current time of day in your meeting list

Week Ending June 10, 2022

• We fixed 12 bugs! Here are a few highlights:
  • Clicking on the present mode icon was not opening Biz Review in presentation mode. Now, you can present away.
  • Biz Reviews iFrame content was significantly smaller than it should be, unreadable. You no longer need a magnifying glass to read it. 
  • Some folks couldn’t edit their profile pictures. You can now snap and edit to your heart’s desire. 

Week Ending June 3, 2022

• We fixed 17 bugs last week. Here are a few highlights: 
  • A spinning wheel was occurring when trying to view Key Result comments. That's all gone!
  • Adjustments were made so starting values don't get skipped in calculations for automated and integrated Key Results. 
    

Week Ending May 20, 2022

• New Features in OKR Canvas:
  • Resize sticky notes: Adjust the size of your stickies to give you even more space to share your ideas.
  • Names on sticky notes: User names are added to new sticky notes when they're created.
  • Accessibility updates: Added keyboard shortcuts and functionality for accessibility.
• The "hand tool" is now the primary mechanism to move/pan around OKR Canvas, accessed from the left-toolbar. If you use a mouse, you can pan around the canvas with the left button while holding the Space bar.
• We zapped 10 bugs. Here are some highlights:
  • Deleted teams are now removed from the heatmap (Before, they were just hangin’ around…)
  • You can find KRs by searching for user name in Biz Reviews again.
  • Excel export showed KR period of Jan 01 1970 - Jan 01 1970. No more retro incorrect dates.

Week Ending May 13, 2022

• We made two bug fixes: 
  • There’s no longer a 500 error was appearing when importing OKRs. 
  • Some users were receiving an error “You don’t have access to add a topic to this meeting” when attempting to add topics to meetings. Whoops - this is all fixed.

Week Ending May 6, 2022

• We made a few small UI tweaks aiming to make a big impression with a tighter and more consumable list on the Meetings List page. Now it's easier to spot if there isn't an agenda for the meeting.
• We fixed around 23 bugs! Some satisfying squashes:
  • Some folks were unable to remove a user from a meeting. All fixed.
  • Google Sheets integration is able to grab data for the right week to week cadence to prevent KR miscalculations.
  • Team OKRs weren't showing for co-managers. Not cool on our end, so we're glad we can keep everyone focused on their results again!

Week Ending April 29, 2022

• We're excited about performance gains made across the site over the last 90 days: 
  • 61% improvement in web requests that allows for faster page loads all around!
  • Page loading should feel 42% faster with improvements to how we sequence what we load.
  • 32% faster load time when clicking opening up the My Objectives page. Who doesn’t want to get to their OKRs faster? 
  • 47.4% faster initial load on meetings pages. 
• We’ve added new nifty features to OKR Canvas:
  • Invite non-team members to collaborate -- Help Article outlining the process
  • Duplicate stickies with the toolbar or Control+C and Control+V hotkeys
  • Lock object positions on OKR Canvas (Like templates, text headers, stickies).
  • Lookback & Learn template are locked by default during canvas creation.
• The Workstream Board view has been updated so it always fills the available browser window.
• We fixed 17 bugs. Let’s review some hits:
  • AI Tag search was failing  when using "&" symbols. Now you can use ampersands to your heart’s desire. 
  • KRs set as 'Should decrease to' were showing incorrect RAG color. No longer!
• We made a Meetings enhancement: 
  • We'll prompt you if leave with an unsaved topic/takeaway, so you don’t run away and lose any work!

  • Introducing the ability to create multiple Hotbox and Action Item Trays in Biz Reviews and highlight what’s important to you. 

  • The right-click Quick Action menu allows you to reveal shortcuts and make edits to your Biz Review without having to scroll.
• Users can now connect their Trello board status to Key Results in Workboard, and choose to automate updates based on count or percent completed.
• For users whose organizations leverage SSO, you can now login using a Tableau Personal Access Token.
• OKR Power Moves
  • Now you can copy a KR to another objective within your team, or to another objective on another team with certain permissions.
  • Filter on annual, quarterly, or past OKRs in the Alignment Tree :tree: and narrow to the information you need.
• Bring in OKRs from any team or time period to streamline the alignment conversations you’re driving in your OKR Canvas sessions.
• Microsoft Teams Updates: Search for an objective by name, team, or owner, and clearer status of objective progress.
• We resolved 10 bugs! Here's an example:
  • We resolved grammatical error on Excel Integration popout.

Week Ending April 8, 2022

• Performance updates were super-charged the last few weeks. Here are some of the benchmarks from the recent cache improvements (and you might see why we’re excited): 
  • The average response time is now less than one second (0.97 sec!)
  • Throughput increased by 16.5%
  • Current average throughput is 60.9 hits/sec
• Time zone selectors have been updated so you can search and select for your zone using PST, EST, etc., rather than searching for a random city near you.
• We fried almost 20 bugs!

Week Ending April 1, 2022

• There’s now the option to have more than one Action Item Tray in Biz Reviews.
• 21 Bugs squashed. This was a big week with a ton of bug fixes landing in production. Here are some standout fixes:
  • Unfortunately Key results driven by Datastreams were returning as "Never Updated" and defaulting to Red. Behind us and apologies for the demo disruptions.
  • Was a little too hard to click on a KR and navigate to Biz Reviews - squashed.
  • Show Key Results wasn’t sticking after Biz Reviews Presentation Mode. Sticky again and back to preserving memory.

Week Ending March 25, 2022

• Have you ever written an extensive KR only to realize it should have belonged to a different Objective? Same here. Now you can copy a KR to another objective within your team, or to another objective on another team with certain permissions. Here’s a Help Article with more details.
• 7 Bugs were found and fixed. Here are some resolved issues: 
  • KR that was set to "Should fall within range" defaulted to starting value if last update was 0.
  • Negative numbers in a KR weren’t tracking correctly.
  • Fixed 'no event triggered' issue when clicking on my key results tab.

Week Ending March 18, 2022

• We're continuously making updates to OKR Canvas:

  • Create your own little piece of the world (or canvas) with custom text headers, now insertable via the left toolbar

  • "Are you really sure you want to delete that?" We added delete confirmation screens to Lookback and Learn & OKR objects.

• Over 11 bugs fixed! Here are a few that were on the docket:

  • When trying to move an Action Item from one workstream to another (e.g., feature intake → biz review), the AI was “mirrored” and not actually moved. That’s all sorted out!

  • Files in shared drives for Google Sheets weren’t visible. Now you can see all intended files, shared and otherwise.

  • The Two-Level Alignment View was taking a full minute to load. We sped that right up.

Week Ending March 11, 2022

• Integrations are a hot topic. This release, we fixed some bugs across different data connectors. Here are some squashed issues from last week:

  • PowerBI and excel connectors were switching from % measurements to numbers. Now they'll do what users told them to do!
  • There was a little embarrassing spelling mistake where we called OKRs, ORKs… glad that one is out of the way.
  • 3-4 usability and functional bugs for setting PowerBI, Excel, Rally key result connectors squashed.

• Meetings!

  • The add to AI to meeting popup was appearing behind the AI details popup and couldn’t be accessed. All fixed! It’s the sort of bug that made us realize how attached we had become to this nifty tool to quickly add AIs to next meetings!
  • Now when you favorite a meeting, the last meeting is pinned in the series to your favorites. Use your pinned meeting to help prep for your next one in a series!

• Accessibility. Whoa! We fixed 112 WCAG violations on our Add/Edit Objectives and Key Results dialogs. Read more in our March Accessibility Release Notes

Week Ending March 4, 2022

• OKR Canvas alert! We made some big improvements to sticky note interactions allowing for a more intuitive and smoother user experience.
  • First, we broke apart the move and edit text interactions. This means a single click on a sticky note will lock focus on that note, and enable the toolbar and ability to move the note. A second click will enable a user to "edit" text.
  • After creating a sticky note, the cursor auto-focuses so you can immediately add text.
  • Sticky notes dragged directly from toolbars to Lookback & Learn now attach!
  • Side note: We modified the ability for users to change OKR visibility to also include: 1) Management can view and 2) All reports to owner can view
• As always, we’re finding and squishing bugs to keep things running smoothly. Here’s an example of an issue we said sayonara to last week:
  • WB app in MS Teams: Some users were unable to post to the channel after selecting a tab type.

Week Ending February 25, 2022

• We knew it was a struggle to reach your Next Level OKR Alignment View, so we made it a whole lot easier to find. Instead of accessing it via the team views only, locate the Next Level View right in your My OKRs page. Then, easily share your page view organized by Objective using the unique URL.
• Some bugs are bigger than other bugs. We think of this one as a big giant squash. Old values weren’t being wiped from some OKRs after a time duration was changed. This is all fixed now, so values appear as intended
• Another bug we put to rest: Some folks were having trouble loading meetings and 1on1s :spin:. We like when things load and when things load well, so that’s not an issue any longer.

Week Ending February 18, 2022

• We heard you loud and clear that copying Workstreams, one of the favorite efficiency hacks for WorkBoard pros, wasn't working properly. It’s fixed – so you can go back to making your super moves!
• Performance enhancements were made across the site to help shorten loading times for you Google and Outlook users.
• Lots of other, smaller, bugs were fixed -- 27 in OKRs alone! We're making sure you have the most seamless experience possible.  

Week Ending January 21, 2022

• Over 45 bugs were fixed! (Both bugs reported by you and bugs we found). Here are some highlights:
  • Filtering is working properly again for Objectives
  • Workstream assignee defaults have been fixed
  • Description is now properly appearing and text is no longer overlapping for RBRs
  • 1on1's show only 1on1's, and not all Meetings

• We made some updates to help reduce your weekly screen time reports. For both iPhone and Android users, you'll now see headers for action items and meetings, and improved meeting filters to quickly find what you're looking for. 
• This one's meta. We now allow mirroring of mirrors, which wasn't available previously.

• We had a quiet week due to the holidays, but still made strides improving the KR experience. Not only did we make it more beautiful, but we also improved the calculations to make them more accurate.

• We made updates and tweaked the visuals for RBRs so it looks and acts nicer when you use it. 
• Check out in depth Accessibility Release Notes for the month of December. The short of it is that we refined keyboard patterns for our My Objective's tab navigation, improved color contrast on the page, and improved the focus management. 
• WorkBoard and Workday are now integrated! This makes it easier for you to manage and maintain WorkBoard Individual User reporting and Team hierarchies. Check out this article for more information and answers to common questions. 
• We fixed bugs that you discovered and reported - thanks for helping us make these improvements! Here are some highlights:
  • iPhone app no longer crashes when adding topics (phew!).
  • The series link in the Meeting description was being duplicated, so we solved that. 
  • Calendar invitees without WorkBoard accounts were being removed, almost like they weren't important (we know they are!). We made sure to fix this issue.

• We know having a seamless experience at your fingertips is important, so we've been improving the app for iPhone and Android. A few things:
  • The app now uses new meetings API for add, edit, delete meetings of both types (1on1s and group meetings).
  • We fixed a few issues that were showing in the new meetings screen, so they shouldn't bother you anymore.
• You might notice a new, more appealing design in Objectives. We hope it suits your fancy. 
• We spruced up charts in the RBR section so the look and function is superior to what it once was.

• We made some Accessibility improvements in KR tagging. 
• Did you notice a few little bugs in New Meetings on the iPhone app? We did, too, so we cleaned those right up. 
• Before, @ mentions and Workstream tagging was incorrect when creating an AI. We want you to be able to @ and tag as you need, so that's been resolved!

• Gone are the days where you had to search for your favorite RBR. You can now set a specific RBR as your start page! Hot tip: When viewing your RBR, click the Kebab tool and then select "Set as Start Page." 
• We made improvements to Key Results and tags so you can continue to set and crush your goals. Here are a few snapshots of work we did in this area:
  • New column was added in KR tags listing to show the number of keywords assigned to the tag.
  • Completed adding of keywords in Create tag and Edit tag popup
  • Working on the accessibility issues and tool tips in KR tags.
• If you set Personal OKRs, there's no longer the "Organization Can View" option. This means your Personal OKRs can remain just that. 
• We made performance updates across the site that should increase speed and stability in your experience.

• We've been working on improving our beloved RBR's. Here are some great updates:
  • The Change Owner Feature that lets you reassign ownership of a RBR to anybody who has edit permissions.
  • We added a Powerpoint Slide # to the iframe embed box. Now you can specify a slide number when you embed a Powerpoint presentation using the IFrame tray.
  • You may have noticed in Presentation Mode where “infinite scrolling” made it difficult to know when you were on the last slide. All fixed!
  • We also sorted out a little problem with the Powerpoint slide controls so now they’re on the screen too.
• We made platform updates that might not seem obvious but should strengthen your overall WorkBoard experience! 
• The user experience should feel flawless, so we made updates to help you have a more seamless and aesthetically pleasing time on WoBo.

  • &s some times like to show up with a few extra characters. We made some fixes to these on action items to send those characters back into hiding.

  • Improvements to admin flows; the path for adding new organization admins is back up and running. Unnecessary selections for removing users from teams or changing their team roles are resolved so you have less obstacles in your way.

  • Workday user provisioning can now re-activate accounts of previously de-provisioned users who have rejoined the company.

• Pop-ups for commenting on key results in Biz Reviews were floating a little too far away from the key result they belonged to. They’ve floated back home. 
• The handy list of your direct and dotted reports’ key results was having some trouble giving you the transparency you need. It is back to delivering on its duty. 
• Intermittent issue with loading of the full key results list under the My Key Results page was fixed. 
• Filtering to past OKRs from the My OKRs page was having a couple of hiccups. Back to searchable and retrievable.
