Every key result in WorkBoard has an owner who is responsible for the business outcome.
The owner can choose to provide data updates themselves, delegate result updates to another user, or change the data source to automated options.
Key result owners have the permission to change key result attributes and select the specific data source that should drive updates for the key results they own.
The key result owner is displayed as a primary piece of information on all OKR views so it can be easily seen as teams discuss their OKRs.
Key Result Co-Owners
If more than one person is responsible for the business outcome, WorkBoard lets you add key result Co-Owners.
Co-Owners have the same privileges as key result owners.
Co-Owners will see the key result listed everywhere they would see key results they own. A key result can have as many Co-Owners as you want.
Key Result Updater
Manually updated key results also have an Updater.
When creating key results, the key result owner will by default also be key result updater, but you can make them different if the business owner is not also the updater.
Changing the Key Result Owner, Co-Owner, and Updater
To change the Owner, edit the key result, and change the person listed as "Person responsible for business result"
To add or change the Co-Owners, add users in the field titled "Who's co-owning this result?"
To modify the Updater (for a person-updated key result), modify the "Who will measure progress and how often?" field.
