The OKR Alignment Overview Stats Report provides high-level insights and key summary statistics related to OKR participation, alignment, progress, focus, and result freshness.
The highlighted summary statistics are intended to showcase current OKR participation and alignment as a means to strategic clarity and alignment around company priorities - as well as high-level stats around result freshness, cadence, and progress to highlight execution focus.
The report is designed to help leaders:
- Assess overall OKR participation across teams and leaders.
- Understand alignment trends to ensure team objectives are connected to broader organizational goals.
- Monitor progress and focus to determine how well teams are advancing toward their strategic outcomes & understand variance.
- Evaluate result freshness to ensure OKRs remain current and relevant.
- Understand past performance from prior quarters & establish benchmarks.

Key Metrics and Insights
The OKR Alignment Overview Stats report highlights the following core areas:
- Participation: Measures the level of involvement in setting and tracking OKRs across the organization.
- Alignment: Showcases how well individual and team objectives align with organizational goals.
- Progress: Tracks the advancement of OKRs over time to measure goal achievement.
- Focus and Result Freshness: Analyzes how frequently objectives are updated to ensure focus on current priorities.
The report includes an overview dashboard that visually represents these metrics, enabling leaders to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement at a glance.
Definitions
The report can filtered to view the stats by by individual business leaders, specific teams, or across the entire organization - to gain a comprehensive understanding of OKR performance and alignment.
All will be dynamic based on time-period and leaders that are selected.

Leader: You can see the report for the whole organization or filter the report by specific leaders. You will be able to filter the report for leaders within the first 7 layers of the organization. When you filter the report by a leader, everyone in the reporting chain of the leader (all the way down to the last layer of individual contributors) are included in the summary statistics.

Definitions:
- Intended Focus: distribution of intended frequency to update results! Higher frequency indicates a higher ratio of lead results and a higher intention to tune in to outcomes.
- Actual Focus: Highlights breakdown of result freshness and transparency. Late results are results that are missing an update based on the intended frequency (ex. missing last week's update for a result we intend to update weekly.
- Accountability - Result Ownership by level: breakdown by the level of the key result owners. The top-most leader in the organization in WorkBoard is level 0, and the subsequent layers of reporting become L1, L2, L3, and so on. Higher distribution of aligned results to individuals lower in the organization signals wider spread clarity and broader participation in the companies' most important strategic priorities.
- KRs by Source: breakdown by key result source type (ex. manual updates from a person, workstreams, integrations etc.)
- KR Confidence Rating: breakdown by confidence to achieve the result
- Committed vs. Aspirational: breakdown of results that have been marked as "committed" in the WorkBoard against all other key results.
- Teams with OKRs: breakdown by the two team types (functional & dynamic)
- Teams without OKRs: breakdown by the two team types (functional & dynamic)
